Linguistic Integration Project in Geneva, Switzerland

Official Report – Raíces Culturales Association
Delivery of the First Linguistic Integration Project in Geneva, Switzerland
Date: May 7, 2025
The Raíces Culturales Association, based in the city of Geneva, Switzerland, is honored to announce the official launch of its first community integration project, carried out on May 7, 2025. This significant milestone was created and led by the organizers of the Association: Hernán Quintero (President), Camila Morales (Vice President), and Tatiana Orozco (Secretary and Treasurer), who brought this initiative to life with dedication, vision, and commitment in support of the community.
The project involved the implementation of free French courses, aimed not only at the Spanish-speaking community but also at all residents in Switzerland who wish to actively integrate into Swiss society through language.
From its design to its execution, Hernán Quintero, Camila Morales, and Tatiana Orozco worked tirelessly to offer an inclusive, educational, and accessible alternative. Today, more than 15 members actively participate in these courses, demonstrating the value of such initiatives in achieving real and effective integration.
This first step represents much more than language classes: it is an open door to participation, respect, and the building of a diverse and cohesive community. For the Raíces Culturales Association, integration into the host country is an essential part of human dignity and well-being.
Camila Morales, as Vice President, has led the academic coordination and participant support, while Tatiana Orozco, in her dual role as Secretary and Treasurer, has ensured the administrative and financial organization of the project. Together with Hernán Quintero, President of the Association, they have formed a team that proves collaborative work focused on the common good leads to tangible results.
Among the Association’s next goals is the opening of new branches in key cities across Switzerland, where integration workshops, cultural activities, and educational spaces tailored to the needs of each community will continue to be offered.
The vision is clear: to unite roots through art, language, education, and human connection, promoting a more inclusive, fair, and interconnected Switzerland that embraces the richness of its diversity.
This project not only marks the beginning of a new institutional phase but also the birth of a support and growth network that will continue to expand.
